Following his impressive performance in the 200m butterfly, Raekwon Noel – OLY has done it again, setting another national record, this time in the Men’s 100m Butterfly! Raekwon continues to raise the standard for Guyanese swimming, showing no signs of slowing down as he dominates on the international stage. His dedication, discipline, and drive are a true inspiration to aspiring athletes across the nation.

Congratulations to Mr. Raekwon Noel – OLY on an outstanding performance at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, where he set a new national record of 1:59.89 in the Men’s 200m Butterfly! This remarkable milestone not only marks a personal best for Mr. Noel but also represents a proud moment for the Guyana Amateur Swimming Association (GASA) and the entire nation. His dedication, discipline, and determination continue to raise the bar for Guyanese swimming on the international stage. Raekwon’s achievement is a testament to the potential and talent that exists within our local athletes. As one of Guyana’s leading swimmers, he continues to inspire the next generation and bring recognition to our nation through his continued progress and competitive spirit. We are also proud to share that Mr. Noel is scheduled to represent Guyana at the upcoming Junior Pan American Games in Asunción, Paraguay this August. Ms. Phillips represented the Guyana Amateur Swimming Association (GASA) at the World Aquatics General Congress Meeting held in Singapore. During the event, she engaged with global and federation leaders, exchanging ideas and participating in progressive conversations aimed at advancing the future of aquatic sports in Guyana, the Caribbean, and globally.

The Guyana Amateur Swimming Association is proud to announce that these incredible athletes will be representing Guyana at the upcoming 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asunción, Paraguay. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each of them on their selection. The team will be competing in the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay and will be accompanied by Coach Stephanie Fraser.
